The BEST 2 things that match plain Rice ! 〜Japanese Style 〜

Natto and Tamago are the two things that I personally love, and most people in Japanese commonly like, especially with rice !

First of all, what is Natto ? what is Tamago ?
  • Natto is a type of fermented soybeans, sticky, smelly, but tastes good when adding the sauce(something similar to soy sauce but more developed to match the beans)

  • Tamago= Egg
Nama* Tamago = Raw Egg

How do we eat it with rice ?

  1. Prepare a rice bowl, and fill it in with some hot cooked rice.

  1. Instructions for Natto,
  1. Prepare the natto
  2. Mix it with the liquid and make it sticky and nice
  3. Then add some spices such as cutted spring onions, or mustard.
  4. Simply pour it on top of the rice.

  1. Tamago =
  1. Crack the egg (raw) on top of the rice.
  2. Add some soysause (not that much, spoonful or two will do, and salt if wanted)
  3. Mix

     4. NOW JUST Eat ! ENJOY ! ^^

  • If you tried both and you want to try something more than this you could maybe do ...
"Tamago natto Gohann" = Tamago ➕ Natto

> This is really really delicious !!!

  • いただきます“Ittadakimasu”:

Literary meaning, “I will eat”. But in a polite manner, it also is a way of thanking not just the person who made it but the person who made the food, and the food it self. It is an well known manner for everyone to say so before eating, and saying with the palms together.

Both of the ways of eating rice is well known, contains good nutrition, and is loved in Japan.
I hope you try it out and enjoy ! ^ ^

Bye Bye〜
